The Cow Pie Classic is the newest must ride gravel grinder in Michigan! We set our main focus on giving all the riders a fun experience on a course with a unique twist. Riders will travel gravel roads, through a cow pasture, and a 2 track through a dense wood section. When on the road rider safety is an utmost priority and we have volunteers at nearly every intersection, custom cow pie course marking signs and police at every major intersection allowing riders to feel safe 100% of the time! With 3 different distances we have something for every rider!

Come join us in Fitzgerald, Georgia for the 3rd Annual Wild Chicken 100 and enjoy a full day of bike riding, good fellowship, and great food in one of the best small towns in South Georgia. Better yet, make it a weekend full of riding on some of the finest, rural, backroads in this whole area with friends, and being surrounded by folks who will treat you like you’re family (the good kind!). This ride will be just that; a ride. If you’d like to be the first one done, we’ll all clap for you, but if you’d like to make a day of it while you ride party pace, we’ll all clap for you too, and we’ll all wait for each other to eat a good meal afterwards. I may put together some sort of unique trophish item for the first male and female to finish the longer distances; both which will test your skill and metal. This ride will focus the mixed terrain rides, but we’ll also feature two or three rides on the road for those roadies out there. For the mixed terrain rides, we’ll have distances of 15, 30, 62, and 100 miles. These rides will feature a mixture of gravel, clay, dirt, and sand and have about a 75% to 25% ratio of dirt to pavement. Each of these distances will have SAG stops. For the roadies we’ll have distances of 30 and 62 miles.

The challenging course features 19 sections of dirt, gravel, and hardscrabble roads (covering approximately 15% of the course) as you wind your way through scenic farmland and country towns in New Jersey’s Sourlands. Total elevation gain is ca 5700 feet. The route is perfectly suitable for standard Road Bikes with Road Tires; tires wider than 23mm are suggested. Cyclocross bikes are welcome, but certainly not required, as most of the ride is on paved roads.
