Vittoria Terreno XC 2.1″ Tires: Getting Rolling
The tires feel light and pliable in the hand. The sidewalls on these are a bit more brown than tan, but the tires look handsome none the less. The resemblance to the Terreno Dry 40mm tires is unmistakable. This bodes well, in my opinion, because those tires are some of my favorites in that size class.
Teravail Rutland 700c X 42mm Tires- Quick Review
Teravail admits in its marketing that these are not the fastest rolling tires out there, but that they motor on though where those tires might fail. I think that summation of what the Rutland is about tells us all we need to know. The ride performance bears this out, in my opinion.

WTB Raddler Tires: Getting Rolling
WTB says the Raddler is a gravel tire with the soul of an mountain bike tire. The Raddler certainly looks the part with its deeper tread pattern and blocky side lugs
Three Tires From WTB: Byway 40mm At The Finish
I have to say that these are compelling tires for mixed surface riding in our So Cal conditions. The casing size is just enough, the tire is fast, it rides well, and has some side knobs for increased grip on looser corners. I like them very much.
Three Tires From WTB: Venture 40mm At The Finish
After some time on them I think they might be the best So Cal dirt road tire I have tried from WTB.
Hutchinson Overide Tires: At The Finish
I just do not feel that they hook up exceptionally well on dirt paths, although as a mixed surface tire, and on smoother surfaces, they do OK. The strong points of the Overide are what seems to be a long life to the tread and a fast rolling nature.
