The Bootlegger 100 Proof (and 60 Proof)

There are two route choices (58 and 107 miles) that both start and finish in downtown Lenoir, NC and travel through the beautiful and rugged Wilson Creek Gorge.

The 58 mile route has approximately 4500 feet of climbing while the 107 mile route will take you up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and includes approximately 9700 feet of climbing!

The course will be well marked in Pisgah Productions style and post-race meals and refreshments will be provided.

Umstead Gravel Grinder

Location: 8801 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27617, The race headquarters and start/finish will be located at Camp Lapihio in Umstead State Park. Follow the signs for Camp Lapihio Group Camp from the US 70 (Glenwood Avenue) Park entrance. The Camp Lapihio Group Camp is approximately 3 miles into the Park from the US 70 entrance. Camp Lapihio is a private facility within Umstead, please do not drive or bike into the campground before the day of the event.  Other groups rent the facility out throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons and expect to have privacy when they stay there.  Do not bike into Camp Lapihio until the date of UGG. Date/Start: Saturday, the Glenwood entrance park gate will open up at 7:00 AM, we will start the race at 8:30 AM. Race ends at 6:30 PM (last racer must cross the finish line by 6:30 PM to qualify as a finish). Format: Gravel road 16.7 mile laps, bring the bike you like but get done by 6:30 PM! Distance: 50 miles (3 laps) or 100 miles (6 laps) Race limit: Capped at 120 participants total. Registration is set up for 140 people assuming attrition.

Pisgah Monster Cross Challenge

Pisgah Monster-Cross Challenge: The Pisgah Monster-Cross Challenge is the premiere  all-road event in WNC. Participants are challenged to complete a 72.6 mile – 8,736’ climbing route consisting of gravel and paved roads. The riders will be treated to a BRAND NEW COURSE in 2018 including some of the best gravel roads in the PISGAH and NANTAHALA national forests! This is a road racer’s dream endurance event where race tactics and strategy, along with overall fitness, proper gear selection, and luck are key to success. There will be three Rest Areas along the way that will be stocked with water, food (PB&J, fruit, salty snacks, sweet snacks,  bars), first aid, and neutral mechanical support.
