DESCRIPTION: The Flint Hills of east-central Kansas have been called the “eastern-most edge of the great far west”. They are rugged. They are remote. They are the perfect place for an ultra-endurance gravel road cycling challenge. Dirty Kanza began in 2006 as little more than a group ride. Today “DK” is the event that defines an industry, and the one by which all other gravel events are measured. With nearly 2,500 participants, no other event can match the excitement that surrounds Dirty Kanza.
