Monday Green

<Back to News Home |

This is that time of the year that the weather is hard to handle. We’re teased with the promise of early summer beautiful weather and the door is quickly shut with cool temps, rain, snow, and wind, especially in northern areas throughout the country and world. The trees are still bare and we think about the days of green.

Our friends over at Chequamegon Gravel shared this picture with us. Summer green lined gravel roads go on for hundreds of miles in the Chequamegon National Forest near the Hayward/Cable/Seeley, Wisconsin area. This area is also home some famous, world class events including the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival, the American Birkebeiner XC Ski Race, the Fat Bike Birkie, and the Lumberjack World Championships.
