Ossian Giant Gravel Grinder

April 14 @ 10:00 am - April 15 @ 5:00 pm

Ossian Giant Gravel Grinder (4/14 -4/15)

Powers will join us for the first gravel race of the season as he competes in the Elite Field against all challengers who want to take on some of the most exciting gravel racing in the country. Held at Swain Resort, riders will get nothing short of a first-class event as they choose between 17, 35 and 55 mile fields on fully-supported gravel courses through State Forrest and seasonal use roads.

As with all three races in the series, the Elite Races will have cut off times where riders will race the clock to make the cut and stay in the race. All racers who don’t make the cut will end up completing the 35 mile course and will still be scored in the Elite Series.

Following their races, riders in the Sport and Intermediate Races, along with all other fans, will have the option to watch Powers and the rest of the Elite Racers on board our Heckle Wagons as we shuttle you to key points on the course putting you right in the middle of the action.

No race is complete without a rockin’ after party: join the official after party at the Shamut at Swain for food, craft beer, live music, and camping options to celebrate a great day on and off the bike.

But the weekend doesn’t end there. On Sunday morning riders will be treated to a special group rider with none other than the man himself, Jeremy Powers. With a cap of 75 riders for the day, each participant will get a chance to interact with Powers at a pre-ride breakfast and a post ride lunch (both included in your entry fee) as well as the opportunity to ride a gorgeous and challenging 50-mile course with him that uses all different roads than the race course from the day before.

The ride will offer Bike Loft East Neutral Support for all your mechanical needs and rest stops built in for fuel. All proceeds from the day will go to local junior race development through the Livingston Cycling Club, making it a great way to give back to the sport!

Does anyone know the routes for this year? Would like to see and possibly pre-ride the course before deciding on the length option. Does anyone have a Garmin .fit or .gpx file of the routes?
