A tired man once said, ”‘Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.”
●There is no cost to attend. Six-pack-shaped donations will be accepted and shared.
●Event will not be timed, however the winner shall be toasted with the finest of hopped beverages.
●We will write down finishing order. If you wanna know your time, wear a watch.
●There are no categories to make any particular demographic feel special.
●Participants shall complete two 25-mile gravel circuits. Or one if you’re not feelin’ it.
●The route is subject to change depending on river levels.
●If you wanna race, then race. If you wanna just ride, that’s cool too. Race it Ride it Tour it.
●Participants may stop at vehicles after one circuit to grab a feed.
●Course will be well marked with arrows on the ground prior to intersections.
●There is no pavement on this ride except for the last ¼ mile, unless we have to ride the high
●There are at least two Category 4 climbs per lap. There are NO flat roads.
●There’s a bunch of low-water slabs, but we’re gonna stay away from the sketchy ones.
●The course is open to vehicular traffic, although you are not likely to see much. Still….
●Take a sec to enjoy the views in the upper Meramec valley. It’s pretty easy on the eyes.
●In the event of shitty weather or high water, event may be postponed. Oh well,, it’s January.
●Restrooms are available at the parking area. Drinking water is not.
●This event is in no way sanctioned by USA Cycling or any other governing body.
●This event is not insured. That’s why it is free. Please don’t make us regret that.
