Welcome to the Irreverent Road Ride, the country’s single most challenging dirt road ride.
IRR will be entering it’s 6th year and it’s still not a race. I am very excited to offer up a route that includes some of the hair raising sections you’ve come to expect as well as some of the most serene and scenic roads in the Green Mountain State. Some might say, unrivaled scenery.
New for IRR 6.0 there are TWO route options: the full IRR route and then an abbreviated version, they will run parrallel for as long as possible. Each rider will have a GPS tracker with an SOS button which will provide accurate timing for every rider. There will be a Friday night registration social at a location TBD. There will also be a Saturday night “Holy-shit-I’m-finally-done” party. I’m trying to have start/finish location that will include camping onsite, so keep your fingers crossed on that.
Please use the event address to find your way to the start, which is at the Ice arena in Waterbury, VT.”
